Accessible Circus

Creative Heights aim to create learning opportunities to every BODY and during 2023 we facilitated local instructors to undertake training with Afreaka Aerials from Oxford to learn how to teach aerial arts to people with limited mobility and disabilities.

Thanks to the support of public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and a donation from the Lincolnshire Cooperative Community Champion fund we were able to deliver a range of workshops and activities throughout the summer of 2024 at the Big Top in Spilsby, as well as working with professional artists of all abilities to create a performance, Beyond The Cover, that was performed at our very first Creative Heights Scratch-Night.

During 2025 we will continue the deliver of the accessible circus workshops from the big top in Spilsby but have also been able to purchase a freestanding rig that allows up to deliver workshops out and about at community events.

Creative Heights Scratch Nights

Creative Heights will be hosting more scratch nights to give local artists a platform to show their work in progress, receive feedback from peers and get professional footage to use for promoting their performances at Northcote Heavy Horse Centre, Great Steeping, Spilsby, Lincolnshire.

Pop Up Accessible Circus Workshops
